Does Amazon ship items to Portugal?
The answer is “It depends on the product”. Amazon does ship items to Portugal, but not all the products. In order to get all the products, you have to either use Amazon’s “1-Click” service or use a “Package Forwarder”. Even if the “1-Click” service of Amazon doesn’t work, the Package Forwarder method works perfectly fine to ship items to Portugal.
If you don’t want to use any of the above-mentioned services, you can buy items from Amazon Spain, as they have a warehouse there, and items will also be cheaper compared to delivering items from the UK or the USA.

What is Amazon’s “1-Click” service?
When you try to buy items from Amazon USA, you might get into trouble as it might say, “the items that you have selected cannot be shipped to Portugal”.
It’s annoying, I know. But don’t worry, there is always a way.
Did you know that Amazon has a special search portal that only shows you items that can be shipped to your current address? That’s right. You can filter the products that can be delivered to Portugal, and the products that can’t be shipped to Portugal won’t be shown to you.
In order for that to activate, all you have to do is, go to your Amazon account then Your Payments > Settings > Your Purchase References, and then enable the “1-Click” button.

There is a disadvantage to the “1-Click” method. What if the item that you want to ship is shown as the item that cannot be shipped? To solve that issue, you have to use a package forwarder service.
The “Package Forwarder” Method
There are numerous courier services in the USA as well as in the UK that can work as a Package Forwarder for you. Package forwarders are specialized companies that will accept your Amazon purchases at their warehouse in the USA or the UK, and then forward them to you.

You have to sign in with one of the companies above. Once you sign in, they will provide you with the location of their stores.
When you buy a product from Amazon, you put the shipping address to the address given to you by the package forwarder company. Once they get your item, they will send you a picture of the item for you to check.
Once you verify it, they put it on their shipping list. That’s how a package forwarding company works.
Even though using the services of a package forwarder will cost you some extra bucks, it’s worth it. You will have your items delivered to your house in just a couple of days. Above mentioned package forwarding companies are 100% reliable and their service is effective.
Sometimes Amazon will ship a product to mainland Portugal but it doesn’t deliver to Madeira or the Azores. At that time, the package forwarding method is the only best option you have.
How many days does it take Amazon to deliver a product to Portugal?
It takes around 5 to 7 days for Amazon to deliver your items to Portugal. Sometimes it might take 10 to 12 days. In case, you have chosen a faster delivery way by paying them extra, then it will take around 3 to 5 days.
